Get started on your Summer Reading Challenge 2026 with Blackpool Libraries

The Summer Reading Challenge is a great opportunity for children to find books they love.

They choose what they want to read - story books, information books, e-books, audio books, poetry, comic, joke books and graphic novels. All reading counts.

If you are not already a Blackpool library member, it is free to join.

You can register online at Blackpool Libraries or at your local library.

Blackpool Libraries have a range of e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and e-newspapers online for free.

BorrowBox is available on your mobile.

We hope you will come along to some of the free, fun activities taking place throught the summer.
