Get into Engineering programme

The King's Trust is now taking referrals for Get Into Engineering in partnership with BAE Systems in Barrow.

The free, 3-week programme is for young people aged 18 to 30 who are not in full time work, education or training.

The programme includes:

• Hands on training with BAE Systems
• A week-long work placement on-site in Barrow
• Opportunities to build confidence, gain skills and explore careers in engineering

To be eligible for the programme you must have photo ID and be a UK National.

We are hosting a Taster Day on 24th September 2025 to recruit for 2 programmes.

Programme 1, 6th to 24th October
Programme 2, 3rd to 21st November
