Citizens Advice Bureau Energy programme

20 August 2025

The Citizens Advice Bureau is currently running an Energy Programme helping people in fuel poverty.

The Citizens Advice Team can speak with people individually and to groups about saving money with fuel, explain the Priority Service Register, Carbon Monoxide dangers and signposting to the relevant places for help with energy related issues.

The service is free and the team are happy to arrange group talks or talk to individuals. The aim is to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward.

Please note the team are only able to provide general energy advice. For tailored or case-specific advice, we refer individuals into the service and they are seen on an appointment basis with one of the Advisers.
