The Light Lounge is a Richmond Fellowship service which offers a welcoming and non-judgemental environment for individuals struggling socially and emotionally with life challenges or for those in a mental health crisis.

The support we offer:

  • Professional and specific individual advice in accessing appropriate help
  • Guidance and information on how to manage mental health and coping mechanisms through one to one and group support
  • Peer support 
  • Access to other organisations to offer support with social crisis for example housing and benefits
  • Monthly sessions - Low mood and self harm, anger management, and self- esteem

Our services are available to people over the age of 16 who live in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. Individuals aged 16 to 17 will need to bring an appropriate adult with them.

People can refer themselves by contacting the Team or visiting us at a drop in session.

You may also be signposted to our service by a GP or other partner organisation.

Opening Hours

Crisis Telephone Service, 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm 
Face to Face Crisis Drop In Monday to Friday 4pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 10pm
