Description
About our service
The Blackpool PMHW team comprises of friendly mental health professionals including nurses, counsellors, therapists, and experienced teachers who offer early support for children and young people when emotional concerns first arise.
Based within the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service, they work closely with schools, family hubs, and community settings across Blackpool to promote well-being and help young people access the right support at the right time.
PMHWs host weekly drop-in sessions at local schools and hubs including — Revoe Children’s Centre, South Family Hub, Blackpool North Family Hub, and online—where families can confidentially discuss worries, receive guidance on emotional regulation, and be directed to the appropriate support pathway.
