Special Guardianship Support Service

Here in Blackpool we have developed our own Special Guardianship support team, where you will find useful resources and information about SGO.
The support service has been created hand in hand with some of our existing SGO carers, to try and ensure we deliver the right support, at the right time. Whether you have been a SGO carer for a while or are new to SCO, you will be able to find support through our Team.
We understand that you may come across situations whereby you want to ask a question about something in particular to reassure yourself or, feel you may need extra guidance and advice at times. Whether you need practical/emotional support or have a question you can contact us and speak to an experienced member of staff/SGO carer.
Please note some of our SGO carers who live out of Blackpool area, will need to aces elements of practical support through their own Local Authority as per Government regulations.
