Description
School nurses are qualified nurses who have undertaken additional training and qualifications to become specialist community public health nurses.
School nurses are there to support Blackpool's young people and to promote the health and well-being of school age children, their families and the school community.
The aim is to ensure that every child has the best start in life.
Opening Hours
For primary aged school children, parent, teachers and other professionals can all contact us directly and ask for support.
All young people 11 - 16 years old, in high schools in Blackpool have access to their School nurse through the weekly drop-in service which are held in schools. No appointment is required, If a young person prefers to speak to teacher and ask for a referral to be made, this is ok too. Or you can Text your nurse for confidential advice and support.
