Specialist Mobility Rehabilitation Centre

We provide wheelchairs for patients with a long-term disability, which adversely affects their walking ability.

A full service is provided for patients requiring all types of wheelchairs, including special seating and cushions.

A voucher scheme is in operation whereby patients, if they so wish, can have a greater choice of wheelchair by making a top up payment.

Our services are organised from the centre and delivered through a private contractor working in the community. The contractor also modifies and reconditions wheelchairs, providing a collection and delivery service and carries out repairs and preventative maintenance in patients' homes.
