Description

Our services provides mental health support during pregnancy and for the first year of the postnatal period. We provide this on a one to one basis in a variety of settings.

You may have mixed emotions about child birth, pregnancy and your baby. This is completely normal and there is support available. These are some common signs that you should talk through with us, your GP, your midwife or health visitor. 

  • Tearfulness
  • Being Irritable
  • Lack of concentration
  • Change of appetite
  • Fatigue or extreme energy
  • Racing thoughts
  • Feeling anxious and worried
  • Lack of motivation and interest. 
  • Some women may also have: 
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Ideas to harm themselves
  • Intrusive thoughts 
  • Information about:
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Self-esteem
  • Relaxation and mindfulness
  • One to one support
  • Likeminded people
  • Non-judgemental,friendly weekly groups.
