About us

Youtherapy offers counselling to young people across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.

We have qualified counsellors who are passionate about helping young people across our local communities. Our counsellors are trained in many different types of therapy suited to fit your individual needs which you can discuss with your assigned practitioner.

If you have a preference of a counsellor whether that is a certain practitioner, certain gender, that is something you can have a think about during or after your initial assessment and can have a chat about with our team.

What is counselling?

Counselling gives you the opportunity to discuss those issues you may be facing in a safe, confidential space, without the fear of judgement. You are able to come together with your counsellor to think about and come up with the best strategies, techniques, or coping mechanisms that best suit you.

What are some of the reasons people may come to counselling?

  • Anxiety
  • Low mood
  • Self harm
  • Bereavement
  • Abuse
  • Sexuality
