Description

Based in Blackpool, Lancashire Memories provides interactive sensory reminiscence sessions in care settings across the county and beyond, gives inspirational talks to interested groups on 'The Power of Reminiscence', as well as offering 'Sharing Precious Memories' workshops to educational establishments. I also provide training sessions in memories and reminiscence, to health and social care staff.

I work across the age spectrum, providing and encouraging opportunities for older people to enjoy their memories, especially people living with dementia. I am excited about engaging children and young people and inspiring them to do more and to spend priceless time with their older relatives, getting to know, value and record their life stories and experiences.

I am also an experienced Lay Funeral Celebrant, supporting families and friends through the challenging times which come when a loved one dies, helping them to plan and deliver meaningful and respectful services, which celebrate the life of the deceased, tells their story, allows family and friends to mourn their loss, and which brings people together in love.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to know more.
