Charitable advocacy organisation empowering and supporting people.

ICANN is a registered charity offering an advocacy service to people who have learning difficulties, mental health problems, physical disabilities, visual or sensory impairment or who may be in need of relief by reasons of their age, youth or social and economic circumstances. 

The provision of an effective advocacy service primarily but not exclusively in Preston and the surrounding areas.

An advocate can meet with you, and spend time getting to know you. Advocates can attend appropriate appointments and meetings with you. Provide you with and help you understand information, to make your own decisions. Support you in making your views known. Support you to ask for, and stand up for your rights. If we are unable to help you we will support you to access, or signpost you to someone who can.

Additional Information

In response to the recent situation with Coronavirus, ICANN have introduced a number of new services as well as adapting our existing services to meet needs under the current circumstances. All our services are available to people across Lancashire including Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen.

  • Benefit form fill in support (telephone/email) service
  • Help with finances services
