Heartbeat - North West Cardiac Care

Heartbeat NWCC is a Lancashire based cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention charity, committed to the fight to reduce the impact of coronary heart disease in all our communities in the North West, by offering exercise, information, advice, education and lifestyle support.

We offer these services to people affected by heart disease and those at high risk of developing it, such as people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke survivors, COPD or those who are obese.

Heartbeat delivers structured exercise programmes designed to British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation guidelines. It is offered to those living with heart disease and those at risk of developing it, to manage their condition, reduce heart events and improve their health and confidence. Heartbeat supports nearly 1,000 people every single week.
