Haematology and Oncology Day Unit

This service provides day case treatment to patients with a haematological or oncological disease.  The day unit is currently open Monday to Friday 8-6 where we deliver a range of treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapies, bloods transfusions, platelet transfusions, apheresis and other IV treatments.  We also insert and remove PICC and hickman lines.   We provide education to our patient about their treatment and also manage the haematology and oncology helpline and triage service.
