Fylde Counselling Service
Description
If you are age 16+ and feel you need to talk to someone about stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, loss, depression, anger, abuse, trauma or anything else, our counselling services are available to you.
We believe
- that the process of sharing anxieties, hopes and fears can help a person to develop and learn to make their own decisions.
- that everyone has the potential to manage their own difficulties if they are supported through this process.
- that everyone has the right to be in control of their own life.
Your counsellor will work with you in blocks of sessions of one hour followed by a review to allow you both to assess whether further sessions would be helpful.
We offer two types of service:
- Private counselling sessions charged at £45 for a 50 minute appointment
- Donation based counselling starting from £5 for 50 minute appointment. Counsellors give their time free of charge. There is a waiting list for this service.
All our counsellors are members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work within their code of ethics.
