Fylde Coast RITT is an Older Adults Community Mental Health services provided by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.

We accept referrals from GP's, other health care professionals, police and social services. In times of crisis when GP services are not open, we do also accept crisis self referrals .

Our  patients are usually over the age of 65 and are experiencing  mental health difficulties which require assessment and treatment from secondary care services.

Fylde Coast RITT is made up of 2 teams:

Home Treatment - 7 days a week 8am to 8pm. This service provides intensive support in the community for people with acute mental health difficulties for a period of up to 6-8 weeks.

Care Home Liaison Team - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. For patients with a likely or diagnosed dementia and living in a permanent placement in a residential care home, CHLT staff will work closely with families and carers looking at  person centred care to help manage behaviours in patients which may pose challenges.

Fylde Coast RITT has a multi disciplinary staff with Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologist and Support workers, all working together to provide support for Older Adults who require Community Mental Health Services .
