Empowerment Charity

Empowerment is a local charity based on Bispham Road.

We provide a number of services for residents of Blackpool:

• Addiction and Recovery
• Advocacy
• Domestic Abuse
• Health and Social Care guidance
• Mental Health
• Neurodiversity
• Prison Leavers suport
• Suicide Prevention and Bereavement

We also run projects:

• EmpowerHER - in partnership with The Boathouse Youth 
• Share Shed - helping young men in Blackpool to connect with each other
• Elliot's Shed - Blackpool men aged 18+ struggling with their mental health
• The Dad's Place - Peer support for dads and dads to be
• Blackpool Autism Partnership - Aim to improve the lives of people living with Autism
• Volunteers - Brew and chat
• Lived Experience Team - first hand experience of the challenges of homelessness, mental health, domestic abuse, Criminal Justice system and substance misuse
