Empowerment Charity - Elliot's Place

Add to shortlist

Description

Elliot's Place is a project aimed at helping young men aged 18 and over struggling with life and feel their mental health is detreating.

Our aim to create a community where members empower each other to reconnect with the world and find hope to keep moving forward. We proactively challenge the stigma of mental ill health and the traditional perception of what it means to be a man.

We do understand that trust and relationships aren't built overnight or from one or two conversations. We use activities to build these connections and improve physical wellbeing.

Activities we offer include:

  • Boxing
  • Football
  • Walks
  • Board games
  • Basketball
  • Golf

At Elliot's Place, each of us has our own lived experience of mental health and use this to walk alongside others on their journey.

We ensure that everyone is treated as an individual with their own unique experiences.

We assist in navigating society, signposting to other services, and engaging with wider groups.

We are here not to judge but to walk with individuals even during the most difficult times.
