I have been a registered childminder since 1996. I live with my husband and daughters and i feel it is important to have a child led setting and that all children feel part of the family and class the setting as their home from home.

I have a wide range of toys and activities for all ages, I have an excellent relationship with all of the parents and work in partnership with them at all times to support all children's learning and development and I always try to cater for parents different shifts at work. I also have the privelage of being a godparent to one of the children in my care.

I work in partnership with St Teresa's nursery, Happydays Preschool, Anchorsholme Primary School ,health visitors for two year progress checks ,and speech therapists. I also provide before and after school care for children attending anchorsholme primary school all after school children are provided with a meal at no extra cost.

I attend regular training and keep in regular contact with the local development worker. We go on regular outings and visits to the local parks, library, toddler groups etc all outings are included in daily minded fees. I provide home cooked meals that include fresh vegetables, a healthy range of snacks throughout the day that include fresh fruit, there is always milk and water available throughout each day.
