Cascade for Bereaved Children

CASCADE offers support for children and young people involved with Trinity's family of services. The support includes:

• Group or individual support to any child or young person who is living with the life limiting illness of a family member
• Group or individual support to children who themselves are living with a life limiting illness or palliative diagnosis
• Group or individual support to any child or young person who is bereaved of a close relative known to Trinity Hospice
• Individual counselling (if appropriate) to any child bereaved or living with the life limiting illness
• Informal support to professionals, parents and carers who work to help children and young people work through their grief
• Support groups for children, young people, their families and carers in response to need
