Brian House Children's Hospice
Description
Brian House is a purpose built children’s hospice. It was specially designed and planned to create a child friendly environment, and provides a home from home for your child and you, recreating that family atmosphere. We believe that your child and family has the right to be informed of your diagnosis and prognosis if you wish, to allow you to make the best possible decisions and plans for the future. Like the rest of Trinity Hospice we have highly skilled staff and volunteers helping us.

We can also offer you specialised respite care as part of our service.

Bereavement care
At Brian House, we have a dedicated bereavement service. The service is available to all families in the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre areas in the event of losing a child – whether they are previously known to Trinity or not. If you need to access this service, just call the nurse in charge on 01253 595552. The hospital may well signpost you to us. Our experienced staff also work with counselling services to organise CASCADE groups to provide specialist support to children and young people who are affected by the traumatic loss of a brother or sister.
