Age Concern Central Lancashire
Description
Age Concern Central Lancashire has over 40 years of experience in helping folk to live well and age well.
We enable people to live well with memory concerns and dementia, reduce loneliness and isolation, secure benefits and provide a wills service amongst a range of wider support designed to promote positive and healthy ageing.
Our Dementia Services are tailored to the needs and preferences of those diagnosed with dementia and memory concerns whilst offering support, guidance and compassion to their family and carers.
We have many services that can help with the current energy crisis for homeowners and people who are renting and all of these services are free of charge.
We are in partnership with Ardor Energy, Cadent Gas and Electricity North West to help with the current cost of living and energy bills. We are also able to get people over the age of 55 on the priority care register and for those under 55 with physical or mental health issues, or with children under the age of 5.
We also provide an outreach service. Anyone can refer into this service with the person who is being referred providing their consent.
