About us
Blackpool Better Start is about giving every new baby in Blackpool a better start in life.
Our aim is to improve speech and language, diet and nutrition, and social and emotional development from birth to 4 years of age across the town.
We work with families to find the right support for them at a personal and community level.
Family Services within the Hub include:
- Stop smoking clinics
- Horizon family support drop ins
- Blackpool Talking Therapies
- Clevr Money
- Blackpool Advocacy
- Youtherapy counselling
- Cost of Living advice
- Childcare funding advice
- Birchall Trust, trauma informed support service

- Save and Play pick and mix preloved clothing for babies and children under 5 years old 4 items £2, some new items also at a reduced price
- @The Grange Green Space community farm perfect for little ones to explore nature and enjoy some messy play in the mud kitchen events and activities planned by the Early Years Park Rangers
- Support for dads
