If you have a concern about work carried out by a member of the directory

In the unlikely event that a consumer is dissatisfied with any work completed by a member, Trading Standards will provide a complaint form which can be completed by the consumer or by Trading Standards on their behalf. This will be forwarded to the member for action. Customer identities may be redacted before forwarding in appropriate circumstances.

It is a requirement of membership that businesses have a complaints procedure and this must be provided to the customers on request or following a complaint.
