Blackpool SENDIASS
Do you have a child, young person with SEN (Special Educational Needs), or do you feel that your child/young person is struggling with their education? Do you have questions about their education? Do you have questions about how your child should be supported in nursery, school or college? If so, why not come along to one of our informal SENDIASS virtual Skype tea and talk information sessions to see how we can help? Contact us via email sendiass@blackpool.gov.uk to let us know which date you would like to come along and we will send you an invitation. Session times are 10:30am to 11:30am.

Adult and Family Learning
The Adult and Family Learning Team are hosting an online Pirate Adventure, join them on either Saturday 30 January 10:30am or Wednesday 10 February 3:00pm. Families will have lots of fun joining in with their pirate themed activities, games, stories and songs. They will send you everything you need for the workshop. Families can sign up to the workshop by completing their form.
Big Schools' Birdwatch
As well as taking the learning into nature with Big Schools Birdwatch, you can also connect with the natural world at home in the Big Garden Birdwatch. Anyone can take part in their garden or local green space and it will run from 29-31 January 2021.

Social, Emotional and Mental Health
ELSA Support are offering free resources to support your child's social and emotional learning.
Resources aimed at autistic pupils, but could be used with others to support change, particularly around COVID-19.

BBC are running daily lessons and offering daily programmes on BBC Bitesize.
Twinkl Go includes Primary Games, Videos and Audio books, are offering free access during lockdown.
Oak National Academy Online Classroom free video lessons, resources and activities, covering most subjects from Reception to Year 11.
For virtual resources to help children and young people understand maths- cubes, tens frames, number lines, bead strings and many more.
