Health Visitors in Blackpool

The Health Visiting Service supports and educates families from pregnancy and birth to when the child starts school. Health visitors work with all parents to assess the support they need and create programmes to help give children the best possible start in life. This may include:

  • Offering support with parenting and advice on health and minor illnesses
  • Advising on feeding, weaning and dental health
  • Undertaking developmental assessments
  • Providing families with specific support when required e.g. with post natal depression

The NHS Children's services have created and maintain a website with all of the up to date details for all of their services.

Please see the Health Visiting Service's web site for further details, including:

  • Location
  • Availability
  • How to get help
  • Contact details

The Health Visiting Service is part of Children’s Services provided by Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. Please see their websites for more information about the Health services that are available.
