Special School Nurses

Special School Nurses are based in two schools, High furlong special school and Woodlands special school, These are for Children and young people aged 2 to 19 years who have a range of extra needs.

Special school nurses help children and young people with extra needs, to be able to go to school and continue to learn and have the same opportunities as other children and young people.

They provide nursing assessments to make sure that you receive all the help with your health and care that you need, as well as advice for children, young people, parents and school staff.

The NHS Children's services have created and maintain a website with all of the up to date details for all of their services.
