Adoption at Blackpool Council

Adoption is a way of providing a new family for children who cannot be brought up by their own parents. It’s a legal procedure in which all parental responsibility is transferred to the adopters.

If the child’s birth parents are unable to provide a safe and permanent home for the child, for whatever reasons, then adoption is a possible outcome. Some children will have been abused and/or neglected and may have experienced many changes and uncertainty in their lives.

We know that adoption is much more than a legal process. When you adopt a child, you welcome them into your life and will help them to grow and develop, and share their future.

If you want to know more about adoption, then why not contact us on 01253 477888, fill in the callback form now or request an information pack. Blackpool Adoption Agency has no waiting list and over 50 children to place in loving homes.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you and answering your questions about adoption.
