We are setting up a community corona kindness helpline for those who want to help and for those that need help and live in Blackpool.
The services that we propose to help with initially are:
- Food shopping
- Dog walking
- Medical supplies
- Social isolation and loneliness

Our staff have access to wide range of information on a variety of topics such as welfare benefits, community care, housing, consumer and health issues.
Blackpool Carer's Centre
Blackpool Carers Centre is an independent, local charity and network partner of Carers Trust. We provide a range of services to support and enhance the lives of unpaid carers of all ages throughout Blackpool and The Fylde Coast.
Blackpool Food Bank
We work together with agencies across Blackpool to provide emergency food parcels for people in need. We are not a front line service but provide aid to front-line services who have already assessed the needs of each client via the Discretionary Support Service and other partners in the network. Following on from the assessment we can provide a three day food parcel consisting of three meals per day to families and individuals.

Care and Share
Care & Share is a Christian family & friends run faith group
The CASHER Team are based at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. We see young people up till the age of 25 who require mental health support out of normal hours
A faith based group who work alongside local people who are homeless or are in need offering hot food, drinks, snacks, emergency items and support.
Discretionary Support Scheme
The Blackpool discretionary support scheme is for Blackpool residents can provide assistance to vulnerable people who need:
- Short term emergency support
- Help to become established or maintain independence in the community
We are unable to give cash.
To reduce the amount of furniture, electrical other household items going to landfill. Helping individuals and families within the Blackpool, Wyre Fylde area access these items

Streetlife is an organisation which assists vulnerable young people in Blackpoo, alot of whom who access our service as homeless.
The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people. We are working hard to continue supporting those who need us the most.
